You must be 18 or over to place an order. We sell second-hand and new video games, and we apply PEGI age ratings as published: a title rated 18 will not be sold to anyone we have reason to believe is younger, and we may ask for proof of age before dispatch.

By placing an order you confirm that the details you give us are accurate and that you are entitled to use the payment method you choose.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send the dispatch confirmation, not before. Until then we can decline an order, for example because stock has sold in the workshop, because a pricing error has been found, or because we cannot verify the payment.

If we decline an order after payment has been taken, the full amount is refunded to the original payment method within fourteen days.

All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current UK rate. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you confirm the order.

We check prices by hand, but mistakes happen. If an item is listed at a clearly wrong price we will contact you before dispatch and offer the correct price or a full refund. We are not obliged to supply an item at an obviously incorrect price.

Most of what we sell is pre-owned. Every item is function-tested on the bench before it is listed and the cosmetic condition is described as we found it. Faults we know about are written in the listing; photographs show the actual item unless the listing says otherwise.

Regional versions matter with older hardware. Each listing states whether an item is PAL, NTSC-U or NTSC-J. It is your responsibility to check compatibility with your own equipment before ordering; a region mismatch is not a fault.

Where a listing says "as tested", it means the item worked on our bench on the date of testing with the accessories listed, and nothing more.

Delivery options, times and charges are set out on the Delivery page. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave. Ownership passes when payment has cleared in full.

If a parcel is returned to us because the address was incomplete or it was not collected, we will contact you to arrange redelivery at your cost or a refund less the original delivery charge.

As a consumer you have fourteen days from delivery to cancel for any reason under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, and thirty days to reject a faulty item for a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The full procedure is on the Returns & Refunds page and nothing in these terms reduces those rights.

We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or by our negligence. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for damage caused by using an item in a way it was not designed for, including modified or imported hardware connected to incompatible power supplies.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and disputes are heard in its courts. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

We update these terms from time to time. The version shown on the site when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
